ELECTRIAL DESIGNER
As a key member of the Grantek – Electrical Group you will be designing and documenting electrical automation systems. This requires complete proficiency using AutoCAD 2000/2002 to produce electrical schematic drawings, and a strong working knowledge of the NEC, NFPA and Canadian Electrical Code. A broad knowledge of the newest electrical automation hardware and proficiency in custom panel design is also required. Additional necessary skills include: the commissioning and troubleshooting of new installations, the preparation of complete electrical construction bid packages and proficiency with MS Office (Excel/Word).

Successful candidates must be fluent in English and have a minimum of five years North American related work experience. Successful candidates must therefore also be meticulous, conscientious, analytical, objective, quick learners, and great communicators in both written and oral communications. An NA recognised Electrician Certificate of Qualification (License) would be an asset. Additionally, candidates must hold a valid driver’s license and have immediate access to a vehicle.

SOFTWARE DESIGNER
As a key member of the Grantek – Systems Group you will be developing real-time automation solutions from the manufacturing plant floor to the enterprise level, using a variety of software programming tools (C/C++, HTML, .NET, SQL, VB, Database software, PLC programming, Servo Motion Control, Networking, operator graphics and control software HMI & SCADA). All junior team members will enter our mentoring program where they will work directly beside senior controls professionals.

Successful candidates must posses an engineering or computer science degree and have experience with some of the programming tools listed above.
