ELECTRICAL DESIGNER:
As a key member of the Grantek Electrical Group, you will be designing and documenting electrical manufacturing automation systems. This requires complete proficiency using AutoCAD 2000/2002 to produce electrical schematic drawings, and a strong working knowledge of the NEC, NFPA and applicable Electrical Code. A broad knowledge of the newest electrical automation hardware and proficiency in custom panel design is also required.
Additional necessary skills include: experience in the commissioning and troubleshooting of new installations, the preparation of complete electrical construction bid packages and proficiency with MS Office (Excel/Word).
An NA recognized Electrician Certificate of Qualification (License) or Electrical Engineering Degree/Diploma would be a strong asset.
SYSTEMS DESIGNER – CONTROLS AUTOMATION:
As a key member of the Grantek Systems Group – Controls Automation, you will be developing real-time manufacturing automation solutions from the manufacturing plant floor to the enterprise level, using a variety of software programming tools and technologies: C++, HTML, .NET, SQL, VB, Database software, PLC programming, Servo Motion Control, Networking, operator graphics and control software HMI & SCADA. The manufacturing IT solutions you will design will be specifically tailored to meet the business and technical needs of our customers.
Successful candidates must possess a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering (or related Engineering Technology degree), and have experience with some of the programming tools and technologies listed above.
Experience or proficiency with Multiple Operating Systems is seen as a strong asset (WinNT, Win2000, WinXP, Win7, Windows Server, Linux, and UNIX).
INFORMATION SYSTEMS DESIGNER – BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE:
As a key member of Grantek’s Systems Group – Business Intelligence, you will be developing manufacturing information technology solutions from the manufacturing plant floor to the enterprise level, using a variety of software programming tools and technologies. The solutions you will design will be specifically tailored to meet the business and technical needs of our customers.
Successful candidates will possess a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, (or related Software Engineering technology degree), and have experience with some of the following programming tools and technologies: C/C++/C#, .NET, Java, VB, SAP, MS Access, MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle, HTML, Flash, PHP, ASP, JSP, NetBeans, VMWare, Citrix, Parallels, VirtualBox, Google Apps, and SharePoint; including proficiency with networking (Managed Switches, Layer 3 devices).
Experience or proficiency with Multiple Operating Systems (WinNT, Win2000, WinXP, Win7, Win2000, Windows Server, Linux, and UNIX), and ERP, CMMS and/or WMS systems, is seen as an asset.
